1. Audiobook Covers Are Different

Square Format Required
Audiobook platforms require a square image, not a portrait layout.
Your final cover must be 2400 x 2400 pixels, in JPG or PNG format, at 72 dpi or higher.

No Borders or Text Cut-off
Avoid placing text too close to the edges.
Most platforms will reject covers with crowded margins or stretched graphics.

Readable at Thumbnail Size
Your title and author name should be clearly legible even when the cover is reduced in size.
Simpler is usually better.

2. Already Have a Book Cover?

Most Existing Covers Will Need Adjusting
If your current cover was designed for a physical book or Kindle, it will almost certainly need reformatting before it can be used as an audiobook cover.

If you want us to help, we can convert your existing artwork,
but you must supply a high-resolution version of the original design in an editable format.
This allows us to recreate the layout in the correct square format using your existing visual identity.

4. Who Uploads the Files?

You Stay in Control
VoomVox creates your final audiobook and cover files, ready for submission, but we don’t upload them for you.
You’ll need to create your own account on your chosen platform (like Audible, Findaway, or Spotify), and handle the upload.

We’ll walk you through what to expect and provide everything you need,
but the platform account stays in your name, and the files are yours to submit.

5. Final Checklist Before Uploading

  • ✅ No borders, stretched graphics, or cut-off text

  • ✅ Title and author name are readable at small size

  • ✅ Safe margins around all design elements
